Claudio Ranieri: 'Arsenal have to win the league'

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says that Arsenal's goalscoring options means they "have to win the league".

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has said that while the Foxes will continue to "fight", Arsenal "have to win the league".

The Italian boss claims that, despite his side sitting two points clear at the top of the Premier League, the quality of the Gunners' squad means they should be lifting the title in May.

"We know we are not the best team in the Premier League because there are so many big teams in the Premier League, and Arsenal are one of them," Ranieri told the Leicester Mercury.

"Arsenal have so many players who can score in any moment. They have to win the league."

The 64-year-old also insisted that his team are relaxed about their title chances.

"Our fans are dreaming and I think also the journalists are dreaming because it is good for you that Leicester win the title, but we don't think about the title, only our performance," said Ranieri.

Leicester's exit from the FA Cup means that their next fixture is not until February 27 against Norwich City.
