Spurs boss Harry Redknapp believes that Thierry Henry will be a positive influence during his two-month loan with former club Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has hailed Thierry Henry ahead of his proposed loan move to Arsenal.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has said that a two-month deal is currently being finalised to bring the striker back to the North London club.

"It's fantastic for them," Redknapp told The Mirror. "He is one of the great players in the history of the Premier League.

"I'm sure he will be a good signing for Arsenal for a couple of months. He will be good to have around the place.

"It's important to have people like that around your club and in the dressing room. They're good on the pitch and off it too. He is a top-class professional."

Henry became Arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer during a previous eight-year spell with the side.
