Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has admitted that he is proud of the club despite their Champions league exit this week.
Rosicky scored in the 3-0 victory over AC Milan on Wednesday but crashed out of the competition following a 4-3 aggregate defeat.
The Czech midfielder told Arsenal Player: "We can go out with our heads held high but we blew it in Milan.
"We knew [that we would be making history if we came back] and that's what the boss told us in the pre-match speech. Who wouldn't want to be part of something special? So of course we were up for it and I think you could see that. So it's a shame."
Arsene Wenger's side are currently in a battle to qualify for next season's Champions League and occupy fourth in the Premier League.
