Thomas Tuchel 'now Arsenal's top choice for manager role'

Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly emerges as Arsenal's number one candidate to become the club's next permanent manager.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly emerged as Arsenal's number one candidate to become the club's next permanent manager.

Arsenal's hierarchy has commenced an extensive search for a new boss following the club's decision to sack Unai Emery last month.

Reports have linked former players Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira with the job, along with the likes of Massimiliano Allegri and Carlo Ancelotti.

According to France Football, however, the Gunners have been attracted to Tuchel, who is currently in his second season at the Parc des Princes.

The report claims that Arsenal are impressed by the manager's fluency in English along with his modern tactical approach.

Tuchel, who has also reportedly attracted interest from Bayern Munich, is expected to leave PSG in the summer should the club once again fail in the Champions League.
