Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that midfielder Mikel Arteta has adapted well to the Gunners' way of playing since moving to the Emirates in the summer.
The Spaniard made a sensational switch to the North London side from Everton on the final day of the summer transfer window.
The French boss believes that the 29-year-old has fit in well to Arsenal's system despite only playing for the club for three months.
"He is an important player for our team," Wenger told the club's official website. "He is really a player between Song and Ramsey or Rosicky and that gives us continuity.
"When we need to keep the ball he can achieve that - Jack [Wilshere] can do that as well. But with Jack missing he is a player who can keep the ball when it is needed. He is adapting to our game."
After the international break, the Gunners resume Premier League action with a visit to Carrow Road to play Norwich City on November 19.
