Arsene Wenger is happy with his attacking options, claiming that Arsenal have several players who can score goals rather than relying on Robin van Persie.

Arsene Wenger has insisted that he is more than happy with Arsenal's attacking options ahead of Sunday's North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners' attack has focussed around Robin van Persie in recent seasons but they have several players into double figures this year.

Spurs themselves have relied on Gareth Bale's goals in their last few games, but Wenger says that he prefers to have more scoring threats.

"At the moment I feel we can score from many positions and I prefer that, personally," said Wenger.

"We have many players who can score. [Theo] Walcott can score, [Olivier] Giroud can score, [Santi] Cazorla can score, [Lukas] Podolski can score. I think [Jack] Wilshere will score as well so we have many.

"We have scored more goals than last year and last year our efficiency was always depending on Van Persie, and I always worried about the day Van Persie gets injured."

Arsenal take on Spurs at 4pm on Sunday.
