Arsene Wenger says that there will be no pressure on Thierry Henry, but the Arsenal boss does expect the Frenchman to score goals.

Arsene Wenger believes that it won't take long for Thierry Henry to get on the scoresheet following the completion of a two-month loan deal to Arsenal from the New York Red Bulls.

The former Gunners captain finalised the temporary switch today after resolving insurance issues.

"Of course [I expect him to score goals]," Wenger told the club's official website. "It is not that because he has come back we will not put pressure on him to score goals. We want him to perform.

"He will do that himself, of course. I want him to help the team and do well. I don't even have to say a word because he will want to do that himself."

The 34-year-old is expected to feature for the North London side against Leeds United in their FA Cup fixture on Monday.
