Following his side's 6-1 win over Southampton, Arsene Wenger says that Arsenal "have a chance" of winning the title this season if they can "show consistency".

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that his side are capable of mounting a title challenge this season.

The unbeaten Gunners took their Premier League tally to eight points from four games with a 6-1 win over Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.

"We have a chance for the title but first we must show consistency," said Wenger. "We have the quality to do it but we have to show how much we can do it.

"When you love football, you love to watch players like Santi Cazorla. His attitude is first-rate and he is technically brilliant. You can see already that he is at the heart of all our moves."

Arsenal begin their Champions League campaign on Tuesday night with a trip to French champions Montpellier.
