Preview: Arsenal vs. Cardiff City

Sports Mole looks ahead to Arsenal's home clash against Cardiff City on Wednesday afternoon.

There may be a long way to go, but Arsenal play host to Cardiff City on Wednesday with the Premier League title in their hands.

They go into the clash with the Welsh outfit at the Emirates Stadium one point clear of nearest challengers Manchester City.

However, any positive result that the Gunners achieve will have to be done without the services of Aaron Ramsey and summer signing Mesut Ozil, both of whom are injured.

Manager Arsene Wenger does have Olivier Giroud at his disposal, though. The French striker ended a goal drought of 499 minutes last time out against Newcastle United.

As for managerless Cardiff, they could name the same side that started Saturday's 2-2 draw with Sunderland.

When the two teams met earlier in the season, Arsenal ran out 3-0 winners at the Cardiff City Stadium.
