Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has denied suggestions that he accused manager Arsene Wenger of racism following a controversial message on Twitter.
The out-of-favour 21-year-old sparked rumours of a race row when he tweeted: "Sometimes I wish I was white and English. #realtalk."
While the midfielder did not specifically relate the view to football reasons, Frimpong's tweet came after he responded to a fellow user asking if he was in the squad for tonight's Capital One Cup tie against Chelsea by saying, "Lol, I wanna laugh."
The initial tweets were eventually deleted by the midfielder, who later wrote: "Not every tweet is football related Goosh."
Frimpong also warned his followers not to believe any reports suggesting that there was a race issue within the club.
Look what ever you read tomorrow has majorly been twisted.
