A late strike from Kim Little secures the Continental Cup for Arsenal Ladies.

Arsenal Ladies have won the Continental Cup with a 1-0 victory over Birmingham Ladies at Barnet's Underhill stadium.

Scotland international midfielder Kim Little scored the winning goal eight minutes from full-time, finding the top corner from 20 yards.

"We made hard work of it but had that little bit extra and deserved the win," BBC Sport quotes Arsenal boss Laura Harvey as saying.

"In the end though, it was going to take a moment of quality to win the game and fortunately Kim Little provided that with a great goal.

"We've been disappointed not to win the FA Cup this season, but we've now got two domestic trophies in the bag and we're in the last 16 of the Champions League so it's still been a good year for us."

Arsenal also won this season's Women's Super League title, finishing eight points clear of second-placed Birmingham.
