Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Empoli defender Daniele Rugani.
The 20-year-old, who is also co-owned by Juventus, has been in good form this season in Serie A.
Juve reportedly have an option to sign the Italian for €3m (£2.25m) despite the player having a contract with Empoli until 2019.
According to Tutto Mercato, Arsenal have watched Rugani play on several occasions this season and are impressed with his performances.
The Gunners are on the verge of signing another defender, in the form of Villarreal's Gabriel Paulista.
Rugani has made 19 appearances for Empoli this term, scoring two goals in the process.
