Vito Mannone will undergo a medical ahead of a move to Sunderland on Tuesday, according to reports.

Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone will reportedly undergo a medical at Sunderland on Tuesday ahead of a move to the Stadium of Light.

The Italian has been linked with the Black Cats for the past few weeks, who are looking to sign a new shot-stopper after selling number one keeper Simon Mignolet to Liverpool last month.

It has been reported by various publications that the two clubs have settled on a transfer fee of around £2m.

Mannone has experienced loan moves to Barnsley and Hull City in his career but struggled to hold down a place in the Arsenal first team when given the chance.

He has made 15 appearances for the Gunners and has just one year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
