Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly keeping tabs on Adel Taarabt in case a move for Wilfried Zaha fails to materialise.
The Gunners are known to be keen admirers of Zaha and could line up a move for the England Under-21s striker in the January transfer window.
The 19-year-old is thought to be eager for a move to his boyhood club, although the deal could hit a stumbling block in the form of Crystal Palace's £20m asking price, with the North London outfit unwilling to pay more than £9m for the player.
If that fails then Wenger will turn his attention to Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt, according to The Mirror.
Arsenal have tracked the Moroccan since moving to rivals Tottenham Hotspur in 2007.
