Arsenal have reportedly made Roma star Cengiz Under their number one target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is rumoured to have been given just £40m to spend during the off-season, meaning that he will have to invest wisely.
According to a report carried by The Sun, Arsenal had been keeping tabs on Under before he was struck down by injury two months ago.
Despite the 21-year-old's lack of playing time since mid-January, it is claimed that Emery has prioritised bringing in the Turkey international - comfortable playing in a three-man forward line or behind the central striker - to strengthen his attack.
Arsenal are also believed to have sent scouts to watch AC Milan's Suso last week, but he is not a prime target.
