Arsenal are reportedly ready to sell Andrey Arshavin back to Zenit St. Petersburg in January.

The forward joined the Gunners from the Russian club for £12m in 2009 and returned there on loan for a three-month spell last season.

Manager Arsene Wenger is now eager to cash in on the 31-year-old before his contract expires in the summer, according to The Mirror.

Arshavin has scored once in eight games for Arsenal during the current campaign.
