Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Guingamp midfielder Gilbert Imbula.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Guingamp youngster Gilbert Imbula as a top transfer target.

The Gunners are understood to be in the market for a defensive midfielder this summer, having failed to replace Alex Song, who departed to join Barcelona last year.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal believe that Imbula, 20, who is valued at around £8m, could fit the bill.

In October 2009, Imbula became the youngest player to play in Ligue 2, at 17 years, one month and four days.
