Arsenal midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide loaned to Ligue 1 side Angers

Arsenal midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide links up with struggling Ligue 1 side Angers on loan for the remainder of the season.

Arsenal midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide has joined Ligue 1 side Angers on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old was signed by the Gunners in 2015 from Lens, but has only made eight appearances for the senior side in two-and-a-half seasons.

Reine-Adelaide has not made any first-team starts at all this campaign due to injury, and has started just eight games for Arsenal's Under-23s.

Angers, who sit 16th in the Ligue 1 table, confirmed the signing of the young Frenchman on their official website, giving the player the number 33 shirt.

Reine-Adelaide's contract at the Emirates Stadium ends in 2019.
