Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is allegedly happy to play a waiting game with regards to his Arsenal future.
Having helped the Gunners win the FA Cup last weekend, it has been suggested that the Gabon international is likely to extend his contract at the Emirates Stadium past the end of next season.
Despite their reported financial restrictions, Arsenal are said to be prepared to hand the versatile attacker a deal worth in the region of £250,000 per week.
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 31-year-old wants to see if Barcelona will make an offer for his services.
Speaking to The Beautiful Game podcast, Romano said: "Aubameyang is waiting to see if other top clubs offer him a contract, like Barcelona. At the moment, no one has made a bid.
"Yes they are talking and it's up to Aubameyang because the contract has been offered to Auba many months ago, they did what they can, they offered him an important contract and he's going to decide soon."
Unable to afford long-term target Lautaro Martinez, the Catalan giants may view a move for Aubameyang as a realistic option ahead of the upcoming campaign.
