Manchester City 'want four more players after Nathan Ake'

Manchester City want to sign four more players during this summer's transfer window after announcing Nathan Ake, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly keen to sign four more players during this summer's transfer window after announcing a deal for Nathan Ake.

The Citizens recently secured the signing of Ferran Torres, who has joined from Valencia, while a move for Dutch centre-back Ake was confirmed on Wednesday night.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Pep Guardiola's side still want to sign another four players, namely targeting replacements for David Silva and Sergio Aguero.

The report claims that an attacking midfielder and centre-forward are high on the club's wishlist, with Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez - thought to be a leading target for Barcelona - 'the number one choice'.

However, City also allegedly want a left-back and another centre-back, with Guardiola keen to overhaul his defence, which has struggled during the 2019-20 campaign.

Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is said to be an option, although the Senegal international could ultimately be priced out of a move away from Serie A this summer.

City will be looking to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League when they host Real Madrid for the second leg of their last-16 clash on Friday night.
