Real Betis president Angel Haro has revealed that Arsenal loanee Hector Bellerin will return to the Emirates Stadium this summer, despite enjoying a successful spell with the La Liga side.
Since leaving the Gunners temporarily in August last year, the 27-year-old has been a first-team regular under Manuel Pellegrini, making 32 appearances across all competitions and helping the Spanish outfit win the Copa del Rey.
Haro has not ruled out the possibility of re-signing Bellerin ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, but claims that there is currently no agreement to keep hold of the right-back, meaning he is set to return to North London as things stand.
"Hector is a fanatic player and a very good person," the Betis president told reporters, via Goal. "It was a loan that we had from Arsenal, now he returns to Arsenal and from then on, we'll see.
"It is true that he has been very caught up in everything about Betis because, in addition, his parents are Betis fans. Hopefully we cross paths again."
Bellerin has been with Arsenal since the age of 16 and has made 239 appearances for the club across all competitions, winning three FA Cup and three Community Shields.
