Dani Ceballos reveals no contact with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane

Arsenal loanee Dani Ceballos says that he has not spoken to Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane since leaving the Bernabeu last summer.

Dani Ceballos has revealed that he has not spoken to Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane since last summer.

After being allowed to link up with Arsenal on a season-long loan deal, Ceballos has made 24 appearances in all competitions.

Although there has been talk of the Spaniard being reintegrated into Zidane's first-team squad, the playmaker has said that he has not held any conversations with the Los Blancos manager.

Spesking to Mundo Deportivo, the 23-year-old said: "I now have a contract with Arsenal. At the moment in Madrid it is difficult to play with the players there are. Now I focus on being important in this club.

"I haven't spoken to Zidane since I left. I don't think Zidane talks to the loan players."

Ceballos still has over three years remaining on his deal with the La Liga giants.
