Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh admits that he would welcome a move back to his former club Bordeaux.

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh has said that he is "nostalgic" about his time at Bordeaux, and has admitted that he would welcome a move back to the club.

Chamakh has been loaned out to West Ham United this season, but has only managed three appearances for the Hammers.

The Moroccan striker has said that he would like to go back to France.

"Everyone knows that Bordeaux is my club at heart," he told French paper Le 10 Sport.

"I'll have to make sacrifices because I can not stay like this. If I find an agreement with Bordeaux, why not?

"It has been three years since I left and we always talk about me here. I am always nostalgic."

Chamakh has scored 17 goals in 63 appearances for his Morocco.
