Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh claims that he could return to Bordeaux at the end of the season.

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh has claimed that he could return to Bordeaux this summer.

The 29-year-old Moroccan is currently on loan at West Ham United until the end of the season following three indifferent years with the Gunners.

However, he has failed to rule out a move back to the club where he began his professional career in 2002.

"Everyone knows that Bordeaux is a club that is in my heart," Chamakh told Sport 10. "If I find an agreement with Bordeaux, why not? If I come back to France, it will be in Bordeaux."

Chamakh joined Arsenal on a free transfer in 2010 after an eight-year spell with Bordeaux.
