Dani Ceballos has suggested that he will return to Real Madrid for the 2020-21 campaign.
The midfielder is currently on loan at Arsenal, making 24 appearances for the Premier League outfit in all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists in the process.
There has been widespread speculation surrounding the Spain international's future in recent weeks, with Madrid allegedly open to selling him during this summer's transfer window.
Ceballos, though, has said that he would be "happy" to return to the Bernabeu and prove himself, denying that he is already "over the hill".
"I'm happy and I am under contract with Real Madrid," Ceballos told Deportes Cuatro. "I'm still only 23, I'm not over the hill just yet. Now I feel much more of a player and I'm ready for whatever challenge comes my way."
The 23-year-old has scored five times in 56 appearances for Los Blancos since joining Zinedine Zidane's side from Real Betis during the summer of 2017.
