Granit Xhaka has seemingly confirmed that he has requested a transfer from Arsenal to Roma this summer.
After five years at the Emirates Stadium, the 28-year-old has been frequently linked with a switch to the Italian capital.
Negotiations between the two clubs are allegedly ongoing with Roma yet to meet Arsenal's asking price, said to be somewhere in the region of £18m.
Ahead of Switzerland's Euro 2020 fixture with France on Monday, Xhaka was quizzed on the recent speculation due to the game taking place in Rome.
Responding to Italian reporters, Xhaka said: "Arsenal know what I want to do. It is very beautiful here."
Xhaka is one of a number of players who the Gunners are willing to sell this summer as they look to rebuild ahead of next season.
