Leicester City are reportedly looking to win the race to sign Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet, who has previously been linked with Arsenal.

Leicester City have reportedly identified Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet as a potential summer signing.

After impressing in Serie A over the past three seasons, Praet is on the radar of a number of top European clubs, which allegedly includes Arsenal and AC Milan.

However, according to Il Secolo XIX, Leicester have made the biggest effort to sign the Belgian by offering to double the player's wages.

Milan are currently regarded as favourites to sign the 25-year-old, who has made 98 outings in Italy's top flight since leaving Anderlecht in 2016.

Nevertheless, Praet has seemingly been offered the opportunity to move to the Premier League, potentially joining his compatriot Youri Tielemans in the centre of the park.
