Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to battle West Ham United and Arsenal to secure the services of Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer market.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in securing the services of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke during the summer transfer market, but they could face competition from two other London clubs for his signature.

It is understood that Spurs are looking to sign a striker in the summer to alleviate the pressure of goalscoring responsibilities from Heung-min Son and Richarlison.

With 19 goals and four assists in 36 appearances across all competitions this season, Solanke has started to attract significant interest from some of London's biggest clubs.

The England international is currently enjoying his best-ever Premier League season and is striving to make a comeback to Gareth Southgate's squad for this summer's European Championships in Germany.

Spurs to splash the cash on Solanke as Kane replacement

Tottenham are actively seeking to find a suitable replacement for Harry Kane, who departed for Bayern Munich last summer and have signalled "concrete" interest in the Cherries attacker, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The report adds that Spurs intend to allocate "huge sums of money" in search of securing the signature of the 26-year-old former Chelsea forward.

However, the Lilywhites are likely to face competition to sign Solanke, with London rivals Arsenal and West Ham United also keeping an eye on the Bournemouth star ahead of the summer transfer market.

The Hammers have been admirers of Solanke for some time and attempted to bring him to the London Stadium last summer.

Arsenal are also expected to bolster their attacking options in the offseason and they may consider launching a formal bid to acquire the Cherries' talisman if they are unable to land their top target, Brentford's Ivan Toney.

One of the striker's standout qualities this season has been his availability, with the 26-year-old starting every Premier League game for Andoni Iraola's side this term.

Solanke's 17 goals in the Premier League this season places him joint-fourth in the race for the Golden Boot, trailing just behind Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Manchester City's Erling Haaland at the top of the standings by only three goals.

The England international signed a new four-year contract with the Cherries in September 2023, extending his deal until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Bournemouth are currently in 13th place in the Premier League table with 42 points after 32 matches ahead of their trip to Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.
