David Moyes 'pressing for Joel Campbell deal'

David Moyes wants a speedy response from Arsenal regarding Real Sociedad's loan bid for Joel Campbell.

David Moyes is reportedly waiting to hear if Arsenal striker Joel Campbell will be allowed to join Real Sociedad on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Scot has been linked with moves for a selection of players from the Premier League, including Manchester United's Ashley Young and Arouna Kone of Everton.

However, the Costa Rican forward has been identified as the prime target for the Basque side, who are said to be looking to bolster their forward line.

According to The People, Moyes will press Gunners boss Arsene Wenger for an answer on the 22-year-old's availability in the coming days.

The Sociedad manager may be keen to complete a move for Campbell soon given that his team have mustered just 11 goals in the 11 games that Moyes has been in charge at the Anoeta.
