Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he is "hopeful" that Robin van Persie will remain at the club.
Van Persie looks certain to depart the Emirates this summer after refusing to sign a new contract, but Ramsey has claimed that the players "don't know anything that goes on".
"We don't know anything that goes on. We hope that he stays at Arsenal. He had a brilliant season last year and he is a big player for us, so we are just hopeful that he will stay," he told Sky Sports News.
Van Persie scored 37 goals for Arsenal last season.
