Report: Arsenal, Liverpool eye Anderson Talisca

Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly eye up moves for Benfica starlet Anderson Talisca, who has already made history after a matter of months in Portugal.

Arsenal and Liverpool are both reportedly weighing up moves for highly-rated Benfica forward Anderson Talisca.

The Brazilian - a £3m summer signing from Bahia - has already made history after his six goals in seven games meant that no foreign import has ever enjoyed a better start to life in Portugal's top flight.

Consequently, the 20-year-old's form has alerted the Premier League giants who, according to The Mirror, sent scouts to watch him score in Sunday's 4-0 win over Arouca.

The report goes on to state that it was the fourth time that both clubs had deployed their scouts to covet Talisca - who has an £18m buyout clause in his contract, which expires in 2019.
