Report: Arsenal quoted £20m for Wilfried Bony

Swansea City quote Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger £20m for striker Wilfried Bony, according to a report.

Swansea City have reportedly set Arsenal an asking price of £20m for the services of striker Wilfried Bony this summer.

The Cote D'Ivorie international has enjoyed a fruitful first season in English football, hitting 15 Premier League goals for the Swans since securing a £12m move to South Wales last year from Vitesse.

Bony's form is thought to have alerted the likes of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger but, according to The Mirror, Arsenal will have to make the 25-year-old the club's second most expensive signing of all time in luring him to the Emirates Stadium.

On Friday, the forward fuelled speculation regarding a switch away from the Liberty Stadium by expressing his desire to play for a "bigger club".

Bony's contract at City expires in 2017.
