Report: West Bromwich Albion target move for Joel Campbell

West Bromwich Albion Pepe Mel is eager to bring Joel Campbell to the club in the summer, according to reports.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly placed Joel Campbell on a list of transfer targets ahead of a potentially busy summer for the club.

Campbell, who has spent the season on loan at Olympiacos from Arsenal, could be available in the summer, and The Express reports that Mel will lead the chase for the striker.

Mel worked with the 21-year-old Costa Rican at Real Betis last season, but it remains unclear whether he will be part of Arsene Wenger's plans at the Emirates Stadium during the next campaign.

Despite joining the Gunners three years ago, Campbell is yet to make a senior appearance for the club due to his inability to secure a work permit.
