Report: Shakhtar Donetsk want £40m for Douglas Costa

Shakhtar Donetsk reportedly want £40m for midfielder Douglas Costa, who has been linked with Arsenal and AC Milan.

Shakhtar Donetsk have reportedly placed a £40m price tag on Douglas Costa, who has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The midfielder is thought to be a target for Arsenal and AC Milan after refusing to return to Ukraine for the start of the season because of the ongoing political unrest in the country.

According to the Daily Star, the club believes that the Brazilian is better than compatriot Hulk, and therefore want at least £40m to let him leave.

Costa scored four goals in 25 appearances for the club last season.
