Serie A outfit Roma are reportedly in talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka in this summer's transfer window.
Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is looking to bolster his squad ahead of the new season and has allegedly identified the 28-year-old as a potential target.
According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners value Xhaka at around £21.5m, however Roma are only willing to pay up to £10m plus bonuses.
The Swiss international came close to leaving the Emirates and joining Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin in January 2020, however the midfielder decided to stay in north London.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta would consider letting Xhaka leave this summer, as the club are looking to generate funds from player sales in order to recruit new additions.
Xhaka has featured 220 times for the Gunners during a five-year spell, including 45 appearances across all competitions this campaign.
