Andre Santos open to permanent move

Brazilian defender Andre Santos insists that he would be open to departing Arsenal on a permanent basis in the summer.

Arsenal defender Andre Santos has revealed that he would be interested in making his loan move to Gremio permanent at the end of the season.

The Brazilian returned to his home nation in January after struggling to come to terms with the Premier League, but as it stands he will be back with the Gunners next season.

Santos told Zero Hora: "I'll do my best to win titles. I have won titles at every club I have played for.

"The staff, board and the players have all made me feel very welcome. There is no doubt that I want to stay."

The 30-year-old has made 22 appearances for Brazil.
