Southampton join race for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka?

Southampton reportedly become the latest Premier League club to show an interest in Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka.

Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Southampton.

Having enjoyed a strong campaign in Germany's top flight, the Frenchman has recently been linked with a switch to either Arsenal or Liverpool during the next transfer window.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Saints are also considering an approach for the versatile France Under-21 international.

The 20-year-old, who still has three years left on his contract, has made a total of 19 outings in the Bundesliga and Europa League this season.

While Southampton are keen to strengthen at the back later in 2020, they also have to consider alternatives to Ryan Bertrand with the Englishman only having a deal at St Mary's until 2021.
