Tottenham Hotspur to beat Arsenal to Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly favourites to land Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, despite rumours that Arsenal were lining up a £20m bid.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ahead of Arsenal in the race to sign Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Gunners are said to be considering an approach for the Frenchman, while Borussia Dortmund and Napoli have also been linked with his services.

Despite rumours that Arsenal were planning a £20m bid, reports in France have claimed that Spurs have already held talks with Schneiderlin about a contract, according to The Express.

Southampton are believed to be keen on keeping hold of the midfielder having already sold Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana.
