Unhappy Lukas Podolski hints at Arsenal exit

Arsenal's Lukas Podolski admits that he may leave in January after becoming unhappy with his lack of game time at the club.

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has revealed that he is unhappy at the club and hinted that he may leave in the January transfer window.

Podolski has played less than 40 minutes of Premier League football this season after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates following the signings of Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez.

The German admitted that his situation is far from ideal and said that he may consider his options in the New Year.

He told reporters: "I have assessed my position in the team and it has to change now.

"Let's see what happens in the winter. The fact is I am not happy about it, that is clear."

The Gunners host Hull City this weekend.
