Arsenal and Tottenham target Jan Vertonghen claims that he is currently focusing on winning the Eredivisie title with Ajax.

Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen has remained coy over a summer move away from the club.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a number of teams across Europe, including Premier League pair Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the Dutchman claims that he is staying focused on winning the Eredivisie title with the Amsterdam club.

"Everybody knows that I'm open to a transfer, but you shouldn't want to leave at all costs," he told Algemeen Dagblad.

"I have a few things lined up at the moment, but it's difficult to say anything about that at the moment. I'll see what happens, if something becomes concrete.

"I'm focusing on putting in good performances and winning the league title for now."

First-placed Ajax are currently eight points clear at the top of the Dutch table with four games to play.
