Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has no plans to raise his offer for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, according to a report.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly determined not to raise the club's £40m offer for Luis Suarez.

The Gunners had a £40,000,001m bid rejected by Liverpool for the Uruguayan last week, despite believing that their offer had activated a release clause in the striker's contract.

Suarez's advisers remain adamant that their client should be allowed to hold talks with Arsenal under the terms of his contract, despite a swift rejection of that stance from the Reds.

Wenger is prepared to play a waiting game in pursuit of his top transfer target, with no plans to increase his valuation of the forward, according to The Mirror.

Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre and manager Brendan Rodgers have both been adamant that Suarez is part of the club's plans in recent interviews.
