West Bromwich Albion keen on Nicklas Bendtner, Pablo Piatti?

A report suggests that Nicklas Bendtner and Pablo Piatti are transfer targets of West Bromwich Albion.

Steve Clarke has reportedly made Nicklas Bendtner and Pablo Piatti his major transfer targets for West Bromwich Albion between now and the end of the summer window.

Amid reports that Nicolas Anelka is about to retire, Clarke is thought to be keen to bolster his goalscoring options.

Having considered a number of options he has decided upon Bendtner, whom Arsenal are known to be willing to sell, according to the Express & Star.

It is also believed that the availability of Valencia's Argentine winger Piatti has captured Clarke's attention.

The 24-year-old is also said to be of interest to Southampton and Rennes.
