Swansea City defender Ashley Williams has reportedly agreed terms on a three-year contract with Arsenal ahead of a summer move to the Emirates.

Ashley Williams has reportedly agreed terms with Arsenal ahead of a transfer to the Emirates from Swansea City this summer.

The Wales international, who has been linked with an exit from the Liberty Stadium over the past few months, is thought to have been a target for the Gunners as well as Liverpool.

However, it appears that Arsenal have won the race to sign the defender by agreeing a three-year contract worth £60,000 a week, according to Goal.com.

Reports have claimed that the North London outfit are hoping to seal the move with a bid in the region of £8m or £10m.
