AS Monaco sell midfielder Chris Malonga to Vitoria de Guimaraes.

Vitoria de Guimaraes have completed the signing of AS Monaco midfielder Chris Malonga.

The 26-year-old moves to the Primera outfit, having struggled to earn a regular place since moving to the Stade Louis II from Nancy in 2010.

Malonga, who has joined the Portuguese cup holders for an undisclosed fee, has been wished well in his future by the Ligue 1 leaders.

A statement from Monaco read: "Midfielder Chris Malonga was transferred to Vitoria de Guimaraes.

"Good luck to Chris in his new colours."

Malonga spent last season on loan at Swiss side Lausanne.
