Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has insisted that he is unconcerned by the club's lack of investment in January.
Aside from the loan signing of Robbie Keane from LA Galaxy and the £250,000 transfer of Enda Stevens from Shamrock Rovers, it has been a quiet window thus far for Villa.
McLeish, however, has admitted that he knew the club did not have the money to spend this season when he took over in the summer.
"I'm not frustrated at all because I knew what the parameters were. If you know in advance, and you're working with your board and they're honest, then if they say 'no' then at least you're getting that answer," McLeish told Goal.com.
