Gabriel Agbonlahor believes that Aston Villa need more luck if they are to secure their Premier League survival.

Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that Aston Villa need more luck if they are to stay in the Premier League.

The Villans are currently two points from safety in the table following one win in their last eight matches.

"The teams that have come up have been better than in recent years, but I feel we've been unlucky and just need a bit more luck," Agbonlahor told reports.

"Once that changes we will start to win more games than we lose. We know there will be shock results between now and the end of the season. We just have to get the results we need."

Villa continue their battle for survival on Sunday when they host West Ham United.
