Aston Villa defender Jores Okore could move on January

Out-of-favour Aston Villa defender Jores Okore reveals that he could leave the club in January.

Danish defender Jores Okore has revealed that he could leave Aston Villa in January.

The 22-year-old hasn't been picked by Paul Lambert this season after making his return from a serious knee injury which put an end to his debut Villa campaign after just four appearances.

He is currently away with Denmark's Under-21s and won't rule out leaving Villa in the New Year.

"I came to Villa to play and I am going to fight to make that happen," he told Danish broadcaster TV2.

"At the same time I need to play, so I don't want to exclude anything when it comes to the coming transfer window."

Okore is under contract at Villa Park until the end of the 2016-17 season.
