Fernando Llorente has insisted that he is "happy" to continue playing his football for Athletic Bilbao.
Recent reports had suggested that the Spanish international had declined the opportunity to extend his contract with Bilbao, thus prompting rumours that his days at San Mames were numbered.
Despite the speculation, the 27-year-old has revealed that he is willing to continue playing for his boyhood club.
"I don't know anything about the negotiations regarding me," he told Itasportpress.it. "Right now I am just thinking about my team.
"I am happy to play at Athletic Bilbao because I feel an important player and I would like to continue here."
Both Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in the centre-forward.
