Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has played down comparisons between Angel Correa and former Atleti striker Sergio Aguero.
Correa, 20, has burst onto the scene at Atletico this season, scoring once in three league games after being cleared to represent the capital side following heart surgery.
His performances have led to comparisons with now Manchester City striker Aguero, but Simeone does not believe that the pair are similar players.
"They're different. One is a pure striker, a number nine, and Angel breaks down the sides, moves between the lines," AS quotes Simeone as saying.
"Correa is growing and hopefully from his development the team has alternatives. I don't see them as the same.
"Angel will play anywhere on the pitch, as a third striker on the outside, more through the middle if you need him. Kun is more at the end of the move."
Aguero represented Atletico between 2006 and 2011, scoring 101 senior goals for the Spanish side.
