Atletico Madrid sign Miguel Moya

Atletico Madrid sign Getafe goalkeeper Miguel Moya, subject to a medical.

A statement on Atletico Madrid's official website has revealed that the Spanish champions have reached an agreement with Getafe for the signature of goalkeeper Miguel Moya.

The 30-year-old, who will undergo a medical this week, is expected to pen a three-year contract at the Vicente Calderon.

Moya missed the conclusion of the 2013-14 season with a knee injury, but is expected to be fit to join his new side for pre-season training next month.

No fee has been mentioned at this stage, but an earlier report had claimed that a figure of £2.5m had been agreed between the two clubs.
